Solveryn AS is a year-round experience company nestled in the pristine wilderness of Lapland, Finland. Located near the banks of a scenic river, Solveryn is rooted in local traditions and values. Our Arctic Wilderness Lodge operates year-round with 24 elegant suites and our fine-dining Maku Restaurant. During the winter season, guests can also enjoy our renowned ice hotel and Maku, Lavvu. A wide variety of premium nature-based activities are offered throughout the year. In addition to evening dining, we also serve breakfast and lunch, and regularly host private functions and corporate events.

As a member of our professional kitchen team, you will contribute to creating unforgettable meals in one of Finland’s most unique culinary environments. We are looking for a passionate and experienced chef who is eager to contribute to a dynamic team, adapt to our kitchen’s culture, and share their expertise. Strong teamwork and service orientation are essential.

The position involves day shifts, evening shifts, and weekend work, reporting directly to the Head Chef.


Job Duties:

  • Prepare and serve meals across various shifts, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner

  • Manage and accommodate allergies and special dietary needs

  • Work in either Maku (fine dining) or Lavvu (à la carte) restaurant depending on the season

  • Carry out food preparation, cooking, and maintain hygiene standards in the kitchen

  • Provide support across kitchen functions and contribute to a seamless guest experience


Qualifications:

  • Culinary education or equivalent experience

  • Prior experience working in a professional kitchen preferred

  • Strong passion for food and commitment to culinary excellence

  • Certified professional chef is an advantage

  • Proficiency in English (both written and spoken) is required; knowledge of Finnish or Swedish is a plus
