Solveryn is seeking a Head of Kitchen and Restaurant

Solveryn Oy is a premium destination in Finland, known for its Arctic Wilderness Lodge and winter-season experiences. Solveryn offers guests first-class accommodation, culinary experiences featuring local Nordic ingredients, and a variety of nature-based activities throughout the Arctic seasons. The company has been a recognized player in the region since the 1970s and has developed into an internationally known Arctic destination.

At Solveryn, we serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner, in addition to larger events such as weddings and conferences. The hospitality business includes two restaurants and two kitchens: Maku and Lavvu.

As Head of Kitchen and Restaurant, you will be responsible for leading and developing our food and beverage concepts, ensuring high quality in production and service, contributing to an exceptional guest experience, and working towards sustainable financial performance within the department.


Responsibilities

  • Leadership and administration

  • Quality control

  • Purchasing and inventory management

  • Customer experience

  • Menu development in collaboration with the Head Chef

  • Budgeting and reporting

  • Marketing and sales

  • Cross-department collaboration


Personal Qualities

  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate

  • Ability to work efficiently in a high-paced environment

  • Solid financial understanding

  • Innovative mindset with a passion for food and beverage development

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills


Qualifications

  • Relevant education in hotel/restaurant management or tourism is an advantage

  • Experience in leadership roles

  • Experience with financial management, budgeting, and reporting


Working Hours

Mainly daytime, but evening and weekend work will be required during peak periods. Flexible working hours are offered for leadership positions. This is a permanent, full-time role.
