Description

Feel the rush of the winter air on your cheeks as you race along the frozen Altan River on a sled pulled by a reindeer. This experience gives you a sneak peek into the Sami lifestyle and introduces you to some of their traditions while being surrounded by magnificent winter scenery. The combination of the reindeer sledding and storytelling in a traditional Lavvu around a bonfire, provides fascinating insights into this special semi-nomadic culture.

What to bring / wear:

• Beanie or other warm headwear
• Wool socks
• Wool underwear

Transport:

For guests who are not staying overnight, kindly note that this activity does not include transportation to and from Altan. If transportation is required, please make a separate booking for this service.
