Description

Feel the thrill driving your snowmobile through the varied landscape in the forest, the wide open plateau and across the frozen inland lakes. This snowmobile experience goes from Solveryn to the Jotka Mountain Lodge located on the Finland plateau 30 km from Solveryn. You will enjoy a traditional Sami meal at the lodge before starting the return trip. Experience the total silence when stopping on the plateau and view the ever changing Arctic light conditions. The light changes dramatically during the season from the polar nights to the dazzling sunshine as spring approaches. Your guide will provide you with your thermal suit, boots, gloves and helmet as well as instructing you in the safe operation of your snowmobile.

Solveryn AS operates with a minimum of 2 participants and reserves the right to cancel the experience if the minimum is not reached.

Transport:

For guests who are not staying overnight, kindly note that this activity does not include transportation to and from Alta. If transportation is required, please make a separate booking for this service.

Disclaimer:

All participants need to be in good physical condition and have basic swimming skills.

All drivers need to be minimum 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license (minimum class B). All participants are required to sign a liability waiver before the start of the tour.

Solveryn AS reserves the right to adjust or cancel the experience due to poor weather conditions, if guests’ safety cannot be guaranteed or in case of unforeseen events.
